Lacson to Step Down as Senate Blue Ribbon Committee Chair Amid Probe Dispute

PN Breaking News

BREAKING: Senator Ping Lacson announced Sunday that he will resign as chair of the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee.

Lacson said he made the decision following concerns raised by some senators about his handling of the probe into multibillion-peso flood control projects.

Despite stepping down, Lacson vowed to continue his campaign against corruption.

“I believe I handled the hearings well, but there are those trying to disrupt the proceedings,” he said.
