Flooding forces road closure in Candaba, Pampanga

CANDABA, PAMPANGA — As of 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 4, 2025, local authorities have temporarily closed the Candaba–Baliuag Road, particularly the San Agustin–Paligui section, due to severe flooding caused by continuous rains from recent typhoons.

According to the Candaba Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), the road is impassable to all types of vehicles. Motorists are advised to avoid the affected area and take alternative routes for safety.

The MDRRMO continues to monitor the situation and urges the public to remain alert and follow official advisories as weather conditions remain unstable.
