The suspension, outlined in Executive Order No. 038, series of 2025, aims to ensure public safety, manage traffic flow, and support the smooth conduct of the citywide celebration known for its street parties and cultural events.

However, the city government clarified that essential personnel, including responders and emergency service workers, are still required to report for duty to maintain public safety during the festivities.

The Tigtigan Terakan Keng Dalan—literally translating to “Singing and Dancing in the Streets”—remains one of Pampanga’s most vibrant festivals, drawing thousands to Angeles City each year to celebrate music, culture, and community pride.
