Cebu, Philippines — The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) reported on Friday that aftershocks from the magnitude 6.9 earthquake in Bogo City have reached 3,685.
In its 4 a.m. bulletin, the agency said 18 of the tremors were felt, with magnitudes ranging between 1.0 and 5.1.
The Office of Civil Defense (OCD) confirmed Thursday that the death toll from the powerful quake has risen to 73.
