Angeles City — Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II has ordered the suspension of government work and classes across all levels on December 11, 2025, in line with the city’s observance of Pampanga Day.

In Executive Order No. 069, Series of 2025, Lazatin announced that all public and private schools in the city will cease operations for the day. Government offices will also suspend regular work, except for frontline and essential services that will operate under a skeleton workforce to ensure uninterrupted public assistance.

The annual holiday marks the founding of Pampanga’s first civil provincial government and pays tribute to the province’s cultural heritage and history.

Private companies may choose whether to suspend operations, with the decision left to their management depending on business needs.

The city government encouraged residents to use the day to reflect on the contributions of Kapampangans to local culture and to participate in activities celebrating the province’s legacy.
