Mandaluyong City (October 6, 2025) — President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Monday led the Philippine Development Forum (PDF) 2025 at the EDSA Shangri-La Hotel, bringing together government officials and development partners to discuss the country’s strategic priorities for growth and social progress.
Organized by the Department of Economy, Planning, and Development (DEPDev), the annual forum serves as a key platform for dialogue between the Government of the Philippines and its local and international partners.
This year’s theme, “Bringing Together Progress for All: Services that Matter, Results that Last,” underscores the administration’s push for inclusive development and lasting reforms. Discussions center on policy alignment, financing priorities, and updates on major government frameworks, including the midterm review of the Philippine Development Plan (PDP) 2023–2028, the Official Development Assistance Portfolio Review, and insights from President Marcos’ Fourth State of the Nation Address (SONA).
Officials said the forum also aims to address urgent economic challenges and explore emerging opportunities to ensure that national and partner initiatives remain responsive and sustainable across sectors.
