PAMPANGA, Philippines — Five athletes from the Shin Ko Judo Club Pampanga brought home multiple medals after competing in the 3rd Philippine Ultimate Judo Championships International Open held in Manila from October 4 to 5.
On Monday, October 27, the medalists paid a courtesy visit to Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda and Vice Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda to express gratitude for the financial assistance and support provided by the provincial government for their training and participation in tournaments.

- Flint Danganan (-27 kg) — Bronze
- Miguel Roque (-40 kg) — Silver
- Kirsten Roque (-44 kg) — Bronze
- Eunice Bermudo (-57 kg) — Bronze
Coaches said the athletes’ recent performance demonstrates the province’s growing potential in judo, driven by continuous support from the local government.
Shin Ko Judo Club Pampanga hopes the achievement will encourage more Kapampangan youth to pursue sports and compete at both national and international levels.
