MANILA, Philippines — During a live press conference held on October 16, 2025, at the DPWH Central Office in Manila, Public Works Secretary Vince Dizon expressed gratitude to Batangas 1st District Representative Leandro Leviste for raising concerns over possible connections between DPWH officials and contractors.
Dizon assured the public that he would personally investigate the matter and take immediate action should any irregularities be found. He emphasized that any undersecretary proven to have ties with contractors will be removed from office without hesitation.
