Angeles City, Pampanga (October 7, 2025) — Students and staff of Angeles City National Trade School (ACNTS) were evacuated Tuesday morning following a reported bomb threat that prompted an immediate security response from school and local authorities.
School Principal Dr. Elmer S. Dayrit ordered the swift evacuation of all students, teachers, and personnel as a precautionary measure. Police teams and explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) units were dispatched to inspect the premises and verify the credibility of the threat.
Engr. Edgard Domingo, Superintendent of the Angeles City Schools Division, was also on site to oversee the situation and coordinate with responding authorities.
The incident follows a series of similar threats reported in various schools across Pampanga over the past two days, which led to class suspensions in several institutions, including Pampanga State University (Bacolor and Mexico campuses), Pampanga Colleges in Macabebe, Holy Cross College in Sta. Ana, and Our Lady of Fatima University in San Fernando City.
Last month, Governor Rafael L. Lazatin Integrated School was also placed on alert after a bomb scare on September 17.
Earlier today, National University Clark confirmed through its official page that it too had received a bomb threat, prompting safety measures and campus inspection.
Authorities continue to investigate the origin of these threats and have intensified security operations to ensure the safety of students and staff. As of this writing, no explosives have been found, and police are conducting further verification to identify those responsible.
